Captions and translations inside their own platform
Inderes runs an investor-relations streaming platform. SyncWords is built into it.
The challenge
Inderes wanted live captioning and translation available natively in its streaming platform, which runs on AWS Elemental, and could not find a solution that integrated with that stack.
The solution
Inderes integrated SyncWords through the API. The platform sends HLS to SyncWords, and finished WebVTT subtitle files post back to an S3 bucket, where they join the stream. Viewers switch on subtitles or audio translations inside the embedded player.
The result
Live captioning, translated subtitles, and more recently live dubbing, offered to Inderes customers as platform features across Europe and worldwide.
