Where we sit in your chain
Five positions, one platform
Find where you are in your own chain and the formats follow. Every position runs from the same live session, so one session can feed several of them at once.
Before the transcoder: SRT
The full broadcast MPEG-TS path: embedded EIA-608, Teletext, DVB-SUB, DVB-TTML and dubbed audio tracks muxed into your SRT stream.
Between transcoder and packager: CMAF ingest
DASH-IF Ingest into your packager, subtitles as TTML tracks your packager converts and delivers. The natural home for MediaLive and MediaPackage pipelines.
At the origin: HLS
WebVTT subtitle tracks written directly into your existing HLS stream, with no re-publish of your video and zero added video latency.
Social and RTMP-only
Embedded 608 captions rendered natively by YouTube, LinkedIn and Facebook Live, or a dubbed stream per language for social and live commerce.
No stream at all: the widget
A caption page viewers open via URL or QR code. No integration, no video required, audio alone is enough. The events modality.
Direct outputs
Beyond the stream: captions posted straight into Zoom, MS Teams and Adobe Connect, and existing caption encoders driven over IP.

Embedded EIA-608
The US broadcast standard, embedded in MPEG-TS over SRT and in RTMP(S) streams.
WebVTT
The player-side format: direct at the HLS origin, or produced by your packager from our TTML on CMAF ingest.
The DVB family
Teletext, DVB-SUB and DVB-TTML for broadcast TV, IPTV and satellite, muxed by SyncWords' own Kobe Muxer.
