Live AI captions

Automatic captions in real time, delivered as embedded EIA-608 for players that expect broadcast captions.

Translated subtitles

Translated subtitles in real time, added without changing your channel so a single feed reaches viewers well beyond its home language.

Slots into MediaLive & MediaPackage

SyncWords sits inside your existing AWS Elemental workflow. No re-architecting the channel, and no on-site caption encoder.

AI dubbed audio

Add AI voice dubbing with Vocalics for news, sports and narrated programming. It keeps the speaker's tone, pacing and emotion. Closed captions and subtitles are included with every dub.

Higher accuracy on your terms

Load custom ASR dictionaries with names, acronyms and product terms. Per-language glossaries keep translated wording consistent.

Built for 24/7 linear

Fully cloud-native, so you can run many concurrent channels at once and keep round-the-clock linear streams captioned without downtime.

AI dubbing

Live AI dubbing for AWS Elemental

Captions reach the audience that reads. Dubbing reaches the audience that listens. Vocalics, the SyncWords AI dubbing offering, dubs live news, sports and narrated programming in real time.

Explore Live AI Dubbing

Dub into 86 languages

Natural-sounding AI dubbing in real time across 86 languages, with 900+ voices and regional accent options.

The speaker stays themselves

Voice transfer carries the original speaker's tone, pacing and emotion in real time across 38 languages. Preset voices and voice casting cover the rest.

Audio tracks in your transport stream

In SRT and MPEG-TS workflows, dubbed audio rides as additional audio tracks alongside the original, with codec and PID control per track, so downstream systems expose a language menu to the viewer. Closed captions and subtitles are included with every dub.

How your audience sees it

Reach every viewer, in their language

Captions and subtitles reach viewers however they watch, from a player-native track in your AWS output to a shareable link.

MediaPackage tracks

WebVTT and IMSC caption tracks in your MediaPackage output, displayed player-native on any desktop or mobile device.

Embedded EIA-608

Broadcast-standard captions carried in the stream for players and downstream systems that expect them.

SRT & HLS ingest

Send SyncWords your feed over SRT or HLS and get it back captioned in real time, ready for the rest of the pipeline.

Standalone URL

Share one link or a QR code for a caption-native page. Viewers open it in any browser and switch languages on the fly.

AWS Elemental captioning FAQ

Does this work with our existing AWS Elemental setup?
Yes. SyncWords slots into your MediaLive and MediaPackage workflow. You send us the feed, we caption or translate it in real time and hand it back, with no change to how you run the channel. We walk you through the setup in a short onboarding call.
What languages can we caption and translate into?
Live captions can start from 90 input languages and be translated into 163 subtitle languages. On-screen embedded EIA-608 covers the seven languages the standard supports, including English, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Italian. AI dubbing with Vocalics covers 86 languages.
Can we use human (CART) captioners instead of AI?
Yes , bring your own captioner. SyncWords ingests captions from standard steno software over a direct EIA-608 Control-A connection. Live sessions are pre-scheduled.
Do we need a hardware caption encoder?
No. The platform is fully cloud-native, which removes the cost of hardware caption encoders and lets you run many concurrent channels for round-the-clock linear.
